With one of the main airports of Europe many birders visit the Netherlands. For some as their main destination for target birding, visit the tulip fields or on a holiday. While others have a stop-over at Schiphol and have some hours for birding.

On a day tour we often reach 100 species of birds so for many it's a productive start for to see European birds. Just outside the city of Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam you have good birding spots and a variety of habitats.

With full day tours we visit multiple birding sites. When we pick-up clients from Amsterdam we mostly visit the Oostvaardersplassen or the Wadden Sea. The Zeeland province is mostly visit if we start from Rotterdam, The Hague or a local accommodation. We always discuss the plan for the day(s) with our clients prior to the tour.
