Bikes & tulips
Target birds:
- Black-tailed Godwit
- Grey Partridge
- Yellow Wagtail
The Netherlands is mostly known for it's tulips, windmills and cheese. From the end of March till half May the bulb fields are flowering. This is the same time as the spring migration and arrival of the summer breeding birds.
As we are situated in the center of the bulb fields we know the best sites away from the crowded tourist spots where you can enjoy the flowering fields and see typical species that breed in these fields like Yellow Wagtail, Grey Partridge, Sky Lark, Northern Lapwing and Black-tailed Godwits in the nearby grasslands.
We can go around by car but another option is to go by bike. That way you experience the tour with all your senses. Smell the flowers, hear the Skylarks and observe the Yellow Wagtails. We can rent the bikes for you (additional costs) and we can also arrange your accommodation with an all-in package.
