Report to be published, checklist available here:
Sunday the 6th of October at 07:30 I picked up Maud and Paul in Amsterdam to go birding for a day.
As I drive to Arnhem to pick up Max and Liz, who are on a European tour (UK, Netherlands and Germany) to see historical sights of WWII and also wanted to do some birding, it’s very misty. This creates a wonderful atmosphere with the old buck trees and mist while I pass the National Parc Hoge Veluwe.
It’s a rainy day as Joost and Sean enter the Kingfisher hide. But the poor dull grey weather is soon forgotten as in five minutes a Kingfishers appears in front of the hide and cameras are rattling.
